We are honored to welcome Karen Quintos into the WITI Hall of Fame. An inspiring, transformative technology and marketing leader, Karen is a passionate advocate for social good, addressing inequality with women and girls. She founded Dell’s Women in Action and the Interfaith Employee Resource Groups, as well as Dell’s Women Entrepreneur Network. Karen currently serves on several boards, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and The Refuge – a live-in rehabilitation facility for child survivors of sex trafficking. She was also named “Mother of the Year” by Working Mother magazine.

Lisa was named one of the World’s 50 Best CEOs by Barron’s, one of the World’s Greatest Leaders by Fortune, and was the first woman to receive the Semiconductor Industry Association’s highest honor, the Robert N. Noyce Award, for “significantly strengthening the semiconductor industry and America’s global technology leadership.”

Lisa also heads Apple’s Racial Equity and Justice Initiative. In 2009, President Barack Obama appointed Lisa Jackson as Administrator of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the first African American and the fourth woman in history to hold that position

Glass Ceiling Report 2.0 – Driving Accountability into DEI Standards and Best Practices
This fall, WITI launched its Glass Ceiling Institute to impact policy and drive accountability in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace. The first phase of this initiative is a comprehensive research effort, Glass Ceiling Report 2.0, that will be used as data-backed evidence for establishing DEIA standards and best practices for the technology industry. This report includes the insights and experiences of more than 4,000 technology experts, executives, employees, and policy makers. In this session we will review preliminary findings of the study and invite Rene Redwood, Executive Director of the Presidential Glass Ceiling Commission, to discuss the impact of recent policy and legislation changes that will set new standards for hiring, retention, pay equity and workplace safeguards.
