Jordan Harrod

Jordan Harrod is currently a Ph.D. student in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics at the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program. Her research focuses on the intersection of non-invasive brain-machine interfaces and deep learning for clinical pain and anesthesia. In her spare time, she loves to engage in science communication, science policy advocacy, and writing. She is also the Chair of the External Affairs Board of the MIT Graduate Student Council, where she manages advocacy related to graduate student issues at the local, state, and federal levels. Additionally, she teaches for Splash at MIT, works with Skype at Scientists and Letters for Pre-Scientists, and much more.
