As Associate Director of Admissions at Carnegie Mellon University, Athena Wintruba supports prospective Integrated Innovation Institute students from the point of inquiry until matriculation. In this role, she hosts informational webinars, arranges campus visits for prospective students, and connects those individuals with appropriate contacts throughout the admission process. What drew her to Carnegie Mellon University and the Institute specifically was the collaborative spirit III degree programs foster. III faculty and students embody the spirit of synergy – illustrating that when individuals from diverse backgrounds come together with a common goal, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
