Angela Anderson

Program Mentor, Western Governor's University

Angela Anderson reveres remote learning with an entrepreneurial spirit as both a researcher and practitioner. Starting her career as a Software Engineer designing and developing corporate online banking software for banking systems in the US, Canada, and Europe, she learned how multi-cultural distributed enterprise systems offer opportunity for fruitful social interactions. Later, Angela switched careers to higher education with a passion for unearthing the untapped potential of online education. While earning a doctoral degree in Adult Learning and Technology at Walden University, Angela is focused on investigating the current learning models used in remote learning and how to advance them with emerging innovations and pedagogies.
