A difficult truth: women in tech are unaccustomed to creating strong support networks for each other. It's time to crush this status quo. Companies must establish workplace environments where women can be vocal, able to bring up issues and concerns long considered "secret" and "personal” - e.g., how life changes like motherhood impact women's work performance and well-being. Companies need women passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) who are willing to join together to learn skills and share perspectives. This panel features perspectives from women who have done concrete things both big and small in their workplaces to advocate for women - to create company mindset changes on how to support women. Attendees will gain an understanding of the power of individual women initiating changes ... the power of women bonding together to influence organizational impact ... and how to become a leader while doing it.
