Tracy Kennedy

Tracy Immel Kennedy is the Director of Marketing for Microsoft Public Affairs, focusing on philanthropic programs that work to increase equity and inclusion of underrepresented communities in computer science education and technical and tech-enabled careers. Combining over 20 years of marketing experience with her passion for teaching and building human capacity, Tracy has a unique background in both the private and public sector. As the owner of Imagine Education Consulting, she worked with a diverse set of clients, including Ministries of Education, schools, NGOs, and companies to support the effective integration of technology and 21st-century skills into teaching and learning. She created and facilitated workshops on evaluating and adapting frameworks like ISTE teaching standards and the UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers (ICT-CFT) and on integrating and assessing 21st-century skills. In her previous work at Microsoft, Tracy created professional development supports for the educator community, scaling reach to hundreds of thousands of educators globally. She partnered with organizations including World Bank, UNESCO, Intel, and Cisco to build trusted, productive partnerships, receiving honors from UNESCO for her leadership.
