In 1989 Carolyn Leighton set about launching a Global Women in Technology Network. At the start, WITI (Women In Technology International) was established as an online global network designed to connect women around the world working in every aspect of technology. Today WITI reaches more than 3 million women (and men) worldwide. Here, Carolyn offers a warm welcome to WITI’s first Digital Inclusivity Virtual Summit, and shares her philosophy that has empowered WITI members to grow and prosper.
