Lauren Sandeman is an ocean and climate change activist. She campaigns for the conservation of this planet through its essential, yet often neglected, life source: the oceans. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology, she has worked in the field with NGOs around the world fighting marine plastic pollution and is the founder of the social initiative Cosplay Clean Up Global. She has returned back to her law studies, now as a Juris Doctor candidate, to understand the system that is failing the conservation of this planet in order to change it. She advocates for the empowerment and inspiration of everyday people in realising their potential to combat climate change and to change their business as usual.
