Ruth Glendinning is the Founder of Future Story Lab, whose mission is identifying and activating sense-making tools for the unfolding future. The core of her work is building ecosystems of relationships, connections, and creative partnerships in projects that are mapped to real needs in the market, catalyzed by expanding technology and activated by personal relationships. As a natural product of the ecosystems built, Ruth designs and implements platforms and systems to develop, produce, and sustain local wealth. She brings a complex network of connections at the local, national, and global level, all based on trust capital and shared values. Her passion is for inclusion and accessibility, seeking the simple entry point to the complexity of the world, recognizing the patterns of past, present, and future events and weaving them into a complex story with a wide variety of elements leveraging the power of the who, what, where, how & why of what's next. This emerges in many forms including language, underlying architecture of ideas, consumer products, and locally rooted economic engines. Decades of lived experience have culminated in the Anti-Fragile Playbook, a step-by-step guide directed towards investing in the productive capacity of places and populations with historically diminished access to opportunities to build and keep wealth. Financial investment seeds the story, but what's really needed is access to the tools to seed, root, grow, and sustain that wealth locally.
