Kim James' 20+ years investment banking background in the UK, Hong Kong, and the UAE paved the way for her second career. Her global experience in a highly regulated and structured industry was a great segue into aviation - the world of drones. Currently, Kim is a Director of UAV Aerial Works (a SACAA certified drone operator) and the company's drone security brand, Drone Guards. She is also the regulatory Safety and Security post holder for UAV Aerial Works. Aside from Kim's passion for the industry, among her industry achievements: a chapter in each of the co-authored Amazon #1 best sellers, "Drone Professional 1" and "Drone Professional 2."Kim is also an Executive Committee member of the Commercial Unmanned Aircraft Association of Southern Africa (CUAASA) and a Chairperson for one of the Drone Council South Africa (DCSA) chambers - New Operator Applications.
