Founder & CEO, The Women Invested to Save Earth (WISE) Fund
A seasoned Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) leader, executive, board member, and advisor, Dr. Jackie Copeland is the Founder/CEO of The Women Invested to Save Earth Fund (theWISEfund.org), an impact enterprise providing funding for promising underrepresented innovators using technology and other tools for social and environmental justice, especially in Africa, Australia, Brazil , India, USA, and Diasporas. She is also the Founder of Black Philanthropy Month and its Summit series, a 10-year-old global collaboration to celebrate, promote, and elevate Black giving and funding in all its forms every August and year-round. Recognized by the UN and 30 governmental bodies, BPM has now engaged 18 million people. An expert on cultural and ecosystem diversity issues, Jackie is recognized by Congress as a HistoryMaker for her innovative civic contributions, and also recognized as one of world's Top 100 Philanthropy Leaders by the advocacy group, Philanthropy Unbound. Trained as an anthropologist and urban designer, she creates effective equity, impact, and sustainability strategies for global organizations and movements. An avid innovator and volunteer, Jackie created Reunity, a women's philanthropy network now part of The WISE Fund (reunity.net) and the initial design of My Brothers Keeper, an Obama Administration legacy initiative. Currently she serves on the board of advisors for Uncharted Power, an energy technology company.
