In 1989 Carolyn Leighton set about launching a support network where women could find a foothold in high-tech fields. At the start, WITI (Women In Technology International) was essentially an email network to help coordinate in-person events for women in tech. Today WITI estimates its reach at over 2 million women (and men) worldwide. Here, Carolyn offers a warm welcome to the 26th Annual WITI Summit and shares her philosophy that has enabled WITI members to grow and prosper.
